Realistic frog plush pattern8/26/2023 ![]() Just wish it walked like the popping from. Appreciate you now sending with tails real close to right. still new at frog fishing with only 2 years, but I highly recommend these.Ĭomments: Solid frog. it's the perfect size frog, and so many color choices. for me that's really good, frog does not take on much water. I find these frogs the best, no need to trim the legs but more important no need to take pliers to the hooks, their pre set just perfect. Won't be buying this frog anymore which is sad because until it broke I really liked it.Ĭomments: I've only fished frogs 2 years now, but in that 2 years I think I've about 40 of them now, all diffrent brands. I know this because when I reeled in all I had left was the little metal ring. Worked good until the eyelet on the front of the frog broke off on a hook set. SproĬomments: i started out with two of these 65 frogs and two 60 popping frogs and two 60 jr frogs, the 65 gets blowups but about half actually eat the frog hence not a good hookup ratio, the 60 popping frog walks the best and you can pop it and hook set is 90 % great frog, the regular 60 walking frog walks ok but not as good as the popping frog but when you get a blowup they really eat it 90% hookup ratio, seems the smaller frogs get more blowups and actually get eaten yes they get some water in them but squeeze it out and keep going, i've got popping frogs and the jr 60 that have been retired because of all the fish I've caught on them, i' tried other frogs and I have to say I'm a Spro man all the way most other frogs don't have the walking action or hook up the ratio of the Spro and yes I do bend the hooks out and up just a hair but it works great, great productĬomments: Not impressed by this frog. The Bronzeye is a great all-purpose frog, good for thick mats, sparse grass, and open water. They are also cut extra long so you can trim them to the length you like. Another nice touch, showing that the bait was designed by someone who actually fishes frogs, is that the living rubber legs are secured inside the body of the Bronzeye so they will never pull out. The body resists filling with water, making the Bronzeye land correctly almost every time. the weight is molded into the body and cannot fall off or move. The ‘nose' of the bait is anchored to the wire just behind the line tie eye, which has been welded closed so your super braid line cannot slip out. The body of the frog is narrower and longer than other frogs on the market, with the exception of the Swamp Donkey, which will make the Bronzeye walk-the-dog easily in open water. When you press down on the Bronzeye body you won't believe the amount of hook that is exposed, thanks to the EWG Hook, and how soft the plastic is. The wire used in this hook is 2x strong, ensuring it can stand up to strong rods and braided line. The first unique feature you'll notice about the Rojas Bronzeye Frog is that it has been designed to utilize the full potential of Gamakatsu's EWG Double Frog Hook. With all the great hollow- bodied frog baits already on the market, Dean Rojas knew he had to really put something extra into the design of the Bronzeye Frog to make it stand out. Ever since Rojas won $40,000 fishing a frog bait at the Bassmaster Classic on Lake Wiley in 2004, the frog market has gone crazy and we have seen more frogs come on the market in a short time span than ever before. The Dean Rojas Bronzeye (Bronze Eye) Frog, manufactured by Spro, is probably the most heralded frog ever introduced to the US market.
